BMW enters the electric bicycle market with The Cruise.
The motor is a 250-watt Bosch electric motor that can propel the bike up to 25 km/h for as far as 85km. The Cruise also sports disc brakes and four different modes of assistance so that the rider can choose the kind of ride he or she wants. The Cruise definitely seems to do for electric bikes what BMW has always done for automobiles.
Unfortunately, BMW has yet to announce any concrete release details for The Cruise, including the price.
