Pioneer recently released a line of 3 speakers that are wireless. They use AirPlay from Apple to connect (and also other connections) to your source of sound and then their juice comes from your wall-socket or a 6 hour built in battery.
This is a tech invention that I have been waiting for since 05 when I got my first AirPlay (then called AirTunes) equipped Airport Express. I hooked up my living room stereo but was waiting for a nice movable speaker to take with me to the bathroom, to the beach, to the garden… but it never arrived. Now, finally, many years later it suddenly pops up when I have stopped waiting.
I’ m gonna look for a Pioneer store in Malmö now and listen to what it sounds like.
